Ricin oil for hair beauty and growth

Organic castor oil is reputed to stimulate hair growth and add density to thinning hair. Applied to the scalp, it stimulates microcirculation, which plays a role in rapid hair growth.

It is also recommended for repairing, nourishing, strengthening and restoring shine to dry, damaged or color-treated hair. It should be noted that it can also be used on oily hair. Thanks to the vitamin E it contains (a natural antioxidant), vegetable castor oil helps protect hair and skin from various external aggressions.

How to use castor oil on hair

Applied pure or coupled with other vegetable oils and/or essential oils, organic ricin oil should preferably be used in the form of a cure, to take full advantage of its benefits. This cure, which helps hair grow faster and become stronger, is to be carried out over a period of 1 month with a mask or oil bath to be done 3 times a week.

To do this, simply mix equal parts castor oil with another vegetable oil such as olive oil, coconut oil or sweet almond oil. The mixture will be less viscous than pure castor oil, making it easier to work with. Next, apply the mixture to the hair while massaging and avoiding getting too much on the scalp. Then, to help the oils penetrate properly, you can wrap your hair in a warm towel and leave on for between 20 minutes and overnight. Finally, after the leave-in time, simply shampoo (or two for hair that tends to oil up quickly), and rinse with lukewarm water.
