Botox shampoo and keratin shampoo to repair hair

Both botox shampoo and keratin shampoo are generally composed of keratin. For the latter this is fairly obvious, for the former, figure that when we talk about botox for the hair, whether it's for a shampoo, a treatment or for the famous capillary botox that we hardly need to introduce anymore, we're referring (in the majority of cases) to a product containing a mixture composed mainly of keratin and hyaluronic acid.

These two botox shampoos are both generally composed of keratin.

These two shampoos will, broadly speaking, have the same effect on the hair although the shampoo or masque botox is formulated to be, in a way, a rejuvenating care for the hair.

What is keratin ?

Keratin is a protein naturally synthesized by the human body whose role includes protecting the hair fiber from external aggression, and is the basic building block of the hair fiber. In fact, 95% of every hair is composed of keratin.

This protein is also present in the skin and nails of the hands and feet.

In addition to taking care of hair, keratin helps to make it softer and shinier. It's worth noting that the keratin care on sale on the market is made from plant or animal keratin.

Why use a keratin shampoo or a botox shampoo?

Our hair is almost constantly under a certain amount of pressure, whether from the use of repeated heating tools such as hair dryers or straightening irons, coloring or bleaching, sun exposure or even pollution.

These assaults that we put them through, consciously or unconsciously, contribute to weakening the hair fiber on a daily basis and therefore participate in reducing the amount of keratin naturally present in hair. The more keratin diminishes, the more hair is exposed to aggression.

This is why using a shampoo with keratin or a blend of keratin and hyaluronic acid has almost become a necessity. In particular, this will help protect hair from external aggression. What's more, a shampoo enriched with keratin is often a sulfate-free shampoo that will wash hair without assaulting or stripping it.

Keratin shampoo: for whom?

All hair types will be able to find theirkeratin shampooor their botox care but this type of care will generally suit weakened hair that has lost its shine and needs a little boost.
For those with dry hair and/or who want to tame their frizz, keratin botox shampoos or similar treatments can help nourish and moisturize their hair.

However, it's important to know that these treatments don't work miracles on damaged hair. Damaged hair cannot be repaired. It's possible to temporarily fill in the "holes" where the keratin is damaged, but it's not possible to rebuild the hair. So you need to regularly apply your keratin treatments to keep these "holes" filled.

As a reminder, these treatments are to be applied to wet hair, and it's best to massage them in gently when applying.

Keratin shampoo to maintain Brazilian straightening

This type of shampoo is practical for people wishing to maintain and prolong their Brazilian straightening.

In fact, this type of shampoo helps enrich the hair with keratin, in addition to (generally) not containing sulfates, which strip and attack the hair and could gradually remove the keratin envelope put in place during straightening. It's therefore important to opt for a gentle shampoo that's sulfate-free and, if possible, contains as many natural ingredients as possible.
