Hadith about ajwa date
According to Sa'd Ibn Abi Waqass, the Prophet ﷺ said:
"Whoever lunches in the morning with seven dates of "al 'Ajwa", nothing can harm him that day, neither poison nor sorcery."
Reported by Bukhari (5768) and Muslim (2047).
Jâbir and Abu Sa'id report that the Prophet ﷺ said:
"Al Ajwa dates come from Paradise, they are a cure against poison[...]".
Sahih At Tirmidhi (2068).
These delicious fruits can be eaten on their own, especially for true date lovers, or for those who wish to follow the prophetic prescriptions. In this case, 7 should be eaten in the morning.

The Ajwa variety comes exclusively from Saudi Arabia, the world's 2nd largest producer of dates. It grows in the palm groves of the city of Madinah, one of the kingdom's main date palm centers, with around 180,000 tons of annual production.
Al Madinah produces several varieties of the world's most prized dates, including the Safawi, the Sukari or the Khudri.
Our Ajwa dates are all-natural and contain no additives (no sugar, no coloring, no preservatives). They are sorted and brushed before packaging, to guarantee optimum quality.
They are easily identified by their deep black color, small size, conical shape and crumpled/dehydrated appearance. Melt-in-your-mouth, their texture is soft and their taste pronounced and sweet, with a hint of licorice.
- Always pit dates before eating.
- Keep out of reach of young children, choking hazard.
- Due to their high fiber content, excessive consumption of dates can lead to stomach aches and transit disorders.
Preferably stored in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat. Dried or dehydrated, dates keep for 6 to 12 months.
Ajwa dates can be stored in the refrigerator, which prevents them from drying out and preserves their aromas. Place them in an airtight container, as they easily absorb odors.
At room temperature, they can be stored for up to three months.
At room temperature, you'll need to place them in an airtight container too to preserve their moisture, and consume them more quickly.
Dates freeze perfectly, in a freezer bag where you've emptied the contents, or in an airtight jar. Be careful, a thawed product must not be refrozen. Check that the dates have not changed odor or color before eating them.
