It's a rare honey with a light, fruity, pleasant taste.
Kyrgyzstan White Honey, comes to us from the Jailloo Valleys. It is harvested from a single flower: the Sainfoin, which grows only in this "Naryn" region.
The Sainfoin flower is a very rare flower.
The sainfoin flower can attract 10 times more bees than white clover, which is why this honey has that white "amber" color, and many beekeepers consider sainfoin honey to be of superior quality.
Please note: packaging may vary. The jar may be round or square depending on arrivals.
Consuming honey on a regular basis helps to maintain the body's good health. Different honeys, including honey from Kyrgyzstan, all have an extraordinarily rich composition, concentrated in benefits:
- they contain antioxidants (flavonoids, phenolic compounds, vitamins);
- they contain anti-inflammatory agents;
- they have antitussive effects and soothe the throat;
- they promote the healing of wounds and burns;
- they can be used as skin care products;
- they relieve gastrointestinal disorders;
- they help strengthen the immune system;
- they have antibacterial activity;
- they are sources of vitamins and minerals.
But it's mainly for the taste experience it provides that white honey is highly appreciated. Indeed, its texture, taste and singular color set it apart from other honeys.
Because of its taste qualities and special texture, white honey is best enjoyed on its own with a spoon, spread or used as a topping.
It can also be used to sweeten hot or cold drinks, which it will delicately flavor.
It can also be used topically, as a facial or skin care product.
White honey from Kyrgyzstan is the result of the exclusive foraging of sainfoin flowers, which are extremely attractive to bees. It is therefore a monofloral honey.
The foraged sainfoin grows only in the valleys of Jailloo, in the Naryn region, known for its beekeeping that respects traditions and nature.
If you're used to fairly liquid, golden honeys, you're likely to be very surprised when you taste it!
White honey from Khirghizistan is thick, much denser than acacia honey, for example, and has a really creamy, unctuous texture, melting in the mouth, velvety and rich, somewhat reminiscent of spread.
Its color is a beautiful, clear, milky white, with slightly iridescent highlights. Its taste, meanwhile, is very mild, sweet, all finesse and subtlety, with a buttery impression. Pleasant floral and fragrant notes emerge.
All honeys are contraindicated for babies under one year of age (risk of infantile botulism) and for people allergic to hive products.
White honey being sweet, people with diabetes should take precautions before consuming it.
Honey is sensitive to moisture and prone to fermentation, which manifests itself in the formation of bubbles on the surface and a characteristic alcoholic odor. Do not consume fermented honey.
Store your pot away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity.
Store in a dark, cool, dry place, between 9 and 25°C.
Do not store in the refrigerator, do not freeze (risk of fermentation).
If your honey crystallizes because of the cold, don't throw it away. It can still be eaten.
You can use it to
You can restore its original texture by gently warming it in a bain-marie.
Don't heat honey above 40°C (avoid boiling water). Heat causes it to lose its properties.
Re-seal the jar tightly after each opening and consume quickly for an optimal experience (preserved aroma and texture).
